  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup 240 ml milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup 120 ml plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup 240 ml ice cubes (optional for a colder and thicker smoothie)
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon optional
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves optional for added nutrients

Instructions

  • Peel the ripe bananas and break them into chunks.
  • Place the banana chunks in a blender.
  • Add the milk, plain yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the blender.
  • For an extra nutrient boost, you can add a handful of fresh mint leaves.
  • If you like a touch of spice and warmth, add a pinch of ground cinnamon.
  • If you want a thicker and colder smoothie, include a cup of ice cubes.
